My name is Sarah Bowe Wieland. I am an aspiring children’s book author and illustrator. I hope to craft stories that will resonate with today's young readers and their parents while withstanding the test of time.
My Story
After spending 7 years in the marketing industry, I decided to try something new. I've always loved to write, and with ideas for books constantly flooding my iPhone's notes app, I thought it was time to actually put them to work. My two young children and their everyday experiences are the inspiration for almost all of my work. In my stories, you will find lovable characters, whimsical illustrations, and themes that resonate with the parents and children of today.
I believe the best children's stories are not overly complicated and leave room for interpretation and discussion with their caregiver. Beautiful illustrations and a powerful message are what I look for in a good children's book, and that's what I've set out to create.
